11.11 Is Coming: 7 SEO Fixes Bangladeshi Stores Can Ship in One Week

Key takeaways

  • Google can take a few days to a few weeks to crawl a page, so 11.11 sale SEO fixes need to ship about a week before the sale starts.
  • Use one permanent 11.11 sale URL with the year in the title, not the URL, so the page keeps its links and history every November.
  • Mobile speed and product schema with BDT prices, a strikethrough regular price and sale dates help sale pages win clicks from phone shoppers.
  • After the sale, keep the page live and indexed with an "ended" message instead of deleting, redirecting or noindexing it.

The short answer: with about a week to go, 11.11 sale SEO comes down to seven fixes you can actually ship: get your sale pages indexed, publish one evergreen 11.11 page on a permanent URL, speed up mobile product pages, add product schema with sale prices and dates, link to the sale from your homepage and top categories, write titles that match how shoppers search, and plan what the page shows after the sale ends.

Every October I get the same message from store owners in Dhaka and Chattogram: "11.11 is coming, can SEO still help?" A week is not enough to climb from page five to the top three. It is enough to stop losing traffic you would otherwise get, and to set up a page that keeps working every November. This checklist is what I would do on a Bangladeshi online store this week, in this order, and where each fix will not help.

11.11 in Bangladesh in numbers: 120.84 million mobile internet subscriptions, Daraz's 2025 sale running 10 to 21 November with deals up to 80% off, Google crawling taking days to weeks, and an 8.4% retail conversion lift from a 0.1 second faster mobile site

When Is 11.11 in 2026, and Why One Week Still Matters

11.11 falls on Wednesday, 11 November 2026. Daraz, which brought the sale to Bangladesh in 2018, had not announced this year's dates when I wrote this. Last year it ran from 8pm on 10 November to 21 November, with deals up to 80% off and free delivery thresholds of Tk 399 and Tk 799, according to Dhaka Tribune. Expect the search rush to start a few days before the 10th and last until the sale ends.

Timing is the reason to start now. Google says that after you ask it to recrawl a page, crawling can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. A sale page published on 9 November may not be in the index until the sale is half over. Shipping these fixes by 3 or 4 November gives Google about a week to find, crawl and rank your pages before shoppers arrive. Every day you wait shrinks that window.

The 11.11 Sale SEO Checklist at a Glance

Here are the seven fixes, roughly in the order I would ship them. Most need a developer for an afternoon, not a full sprint.

Time estimates come from our own client work, so treat them as a guide.

Fix 1: Make Sure Google Can Find and Index Your Sale Pages

Start with the boring check. Open Google Search Console and run the URL Inspection tool on your homepage, your sale page and three of your best-selling products. Each should say "URL is on Google". If a page says "Excluded by noindex tag", find out why before you do anything else.

The usual culprits I find in Bangladeshi stores are simple. A staging site was copied to live with "Discourage search engines" still ticked in WordPress. A theme or app adds noindex to collection pages. Or robots.txt blocks a folder like /offers/ that someone added years ago. Fix these, then make sure the sale page is in your XML sitemap with a fresh lastmod date.

Then click "Request indexing" for the sale page and your main category pages, once each. Google's own help says repeating the request does not speed it up, so do it once and move on. On Shopify, check the sale collection is published, not saved as a draft.

Fix 2: Build One Evergreen 11.11 Sale Page

Google's advice for recurring sales is to use a recurring URL rather than a new URL for each year's event, publish it well before the sale and link to it from your homepage. That was written for Black Friday; 11.11 works the same way.

So build yoursite.com/11-11-sale, not /11-11-sale-2026 and not a Facebook-only landing page. Put the year in the title and H1, where it can change next November without changing the URL. Every backlink and every bit of history the page earns this year carries into 2027.

Give the page 200 to 300 words of real copy: what is on sale, the dates, delivery times inside and outside Dhaka, payment options such as bKash, Nagad and cash on delivery, and the return policy. Google's later post on deal pages asks for descriptive text on the page and the event name in the title, such as "Black Friday 2021 Deals". Secret offers? Publish the general details now and update on the day.

Fix 3: Speed Up Mobile Pages Before the Traffic Spike

Most 11.11 shoppers in Bangladesh will arrive on a phone. BTRC counted 135.94 million internet subscriptions in June 2026, and 120.84 million of them were mobile. On a phone, a slow product page loses the sale to Daraz or a competitor one tap away.

The money case is real, though the evidence is from Europe and the US rather than Bangladesh. A Google-commissioned Deloitte study found that a 0.1 second faster mobile site lifted retail conversions by 8.4% and average order value by 9.2%.

Run your top 20 pages through PageSpeed Insights and aim for Google's "good" Core Web Vitals: Largest Contentful Paint within 2.5 seconds, Interaction to Next Paint of 200 milliseconds or less and Cumulative Layout Shift of 0.1 or less. Convert big product photos to WebP, remove unused apps and widgets, and turn on caching and a CDN such as Cloudflare. Ask your host whether your plan can handle a spike. If the theme itself is the problem, that is a job for after the sale, through proper e-commerce website development, not a week-before rebuild.

Fix 4: Add Product Schema With Sale Prices

Product schema is code that tells Google each product's price, currency and stock, so it can show them in search. Most WooCommerce and Shopify themes add basic markup; check yours with Google's Rich Results Test.

Three details matter for 11.11. The price must be in BDT and match the price on the page exactly,. Availability should be set to InStock or OutOfStock honestly. And Google now supports showing the regular price struck through next to the sale price. Its merchant listing documentation uses a second price with priceType set to StrikethroughPrice, and since July 2026 it explains how to mark a sale's start and end with validFrom and validThrough.

Ask your developer to output the 11.11 price as the active price, the regular price as the strikethrough price, and the sale dates on the offer. Plugins such as Rank Math and Yoast WooCommerce SEO handle the basics; the sale dates may need a small custom snippet. Do not invent a "was" price to make the discount look bigger. Shoppers remember last month's price.

Google judges a page's importance partly by how many of your own pages link to it. A sale page that is only reachable from a Facebook ad looks unimportant, however good it is.

This week, add a homepage banner that is a real HTML link with text, not just an image inside a slider. Add "11.11 Sale" to the main menu. Link to the sale page from your top five category pages, and from the sale page back to those categories, so shoppers and Googlebot can move both ways. If you have a blog, add a link from your most visited post, such as a buying guide.

Keep the anchor text descriptive. "11.11 sale on smartphones" tells Google more than "click here" or "shop now". We used the same structure, strong category pages linked tightly to the products under them, on Rangs eMart's electronics store, where organic product sales grew 546% in six months. For the wider site structure, our e-commerce SEO playbook for Bangladeshi stores goes deeper.

Fix 6: Write Titles and Copy for How Bangladesh Searches 11.11

Shoppers do not search the way marketing teams write. Around the sale, people type the store or brand name plus the event: "walton 11.11 offer", "11 11 sale bd", "11.11 offer koto din", "11.11 mobile offer". People type the number many ways, with dots, spaces or not at all, so use the "11.11" form people see most in your title and the other forms naturally in headings and FAQs.

A good sale page title fits about 60 characters and puts the event, year and your store up front, for example "11.11 Sale 2026: Up to 50% Off Phones | YourStore". Put the real offer and delivery promise in the meta description.

Your brand is your strongest 11.11 keyword. You will not outrank Daraz for "11.11 sale", but you can own "[your brand] 11.11 offer", because people searching that already want to buy from you. Check last year's Search Console queries for November to see which versions people actually used on your site.

Fix 7: Plan What Your Sale Page Does After 11.11 Ends

This is the step almost every 11.11 checklist skips, and it decides whether this week's work pays off next year. On 22 November, do not delete the sale page, redirect it to the homepage or set it to noindex. Each of those throws away the links and history it earned.

Instead, switch the page to an "after the sale" version. Change the headline to "11.11 Sale 2026 has ended", keep the dates, add a short summary of what was on offer, and point shoppers to your current deals or a sign-up for next year's alerts. Keep the URL and the page indexed.

Handle products and prices the same way. Remove the sale dates and strikethrough price from the schema once the sale ends, so search results do not show an expired discount. Keep sold-out product pages live with availability set to OutOfStock and links to similar products, rather than returning a 404. Write down what you changed for next October.

A Day-by-Day Plan for Your 11.11 SEO Week

If you start on Wednesday, 28 October, this is how the week can run. Shift the days if you start later, but keep the order: indexing first, launch-day tweaks last.

DayTaskDone when
Day 1Indexing audit in Search Console; fix noindex and robots.txt issuesSale page and top products show "URL is on Google" or are queued
Day 2Publish the evergreen 11.11 sale page with real copy; request indexingPage is live on its permanent URL and in the sitemap

What One Week of SEO Cannot Do

A week of fixes will not take a new store to the top of Google for "11.11 sale" against Daraz, Pickaboo or Star Tech. Rankings for competitive terms take months.

What a week can do is stop the leaks: pages Google cannot see, a mobile site that loses buyers, prices that do not show in search. It also builds an asset that compounds, because next year's 11.11 page starts with this year's links. For the sale traffic itself this year, paid search and Facebook ads will move faster than SEO, and that is fine.

If your store needs more than a week, for example a migration, a new theme or thousands of products with thin descriptions, fix the basics now and plan that work for January. Our e-commerce SEO services for online stores start with exactly that kind of audit, and our Eid season SEO guide shows how to plan the longer runway for Bangladesh's other big shopping peak.

Frequently asked questions

Not if you start about a week before. Google can take a few days to a few weeks to crawl a new page, so publishing your 11.11 sale page and fixing indexing issues now still gives it time to appear. A week will not win new competitive rankings, but it prevents lost traffic and builds a page for next year.
